Hervé, a 56-year-old property owner in Saint-Juvat, France, was forced to vacate his guesthouse, which he spent 5 years renovating, after hosting a family of illegal migrants from Mauritius.
In October 2025, Hervé offered the family a short-term lease at a reduced rate to prevent them from spending the winter outdoors. While cohabitation initially seemed positive, it deteriorated rapidly due to noise nuisance, accusations of theft, and property damage. The situation escalated in January 2026 when the male tenant threatened Hervé and damaged his car, prompting Hervé to file a police report.
Despite HervĂ© serving an eviction notice for 1 February 2026, the family refused to leave. The subsequent legal expulsion process has stalled due to continued delays and the tenants’ failure to appear in court. As a result, HervĂ© cannot currently access his own home. Reports indicate that Hervé’s guests had a prior history of eviction in July 2025 for similar issues, including threats and unpaid rent.
Below is what Paul Joseph Watson from Modernity News had to say about Hervé’s situation:

My question is why would they take folks from a different culture into your own home? We all know how it all ends when you do a good deed for illegals.
Seems to be a couple of things not operating correctly at times.
On occassion articles not loading. Plus utilising your captcha code. I had ticked all posts. Nothing happened, and it just kept prompting to put in another code.
Im sorry to mention the above. I hope u find my observations useful.
Thank you, for all your hard work, diligence and fortitude.
Paul
Hi Paul, we’ve been experiencing a series of technical issues with the site over the last three weeks. At times, the site and/or articles won’t load. We’re working on them one by one to solve them.
On top of that, over the last three weeks we’ve had bouts of heavy sustained bot attacks. I think its these that are crashing the site from time to time. You’ll find if articles aren’t loading and you wait half an hour or so and try again, it will work.
I wasn’t aware of a captcha code. I’ll try to find out if that’s something our IT team has done and forgot to mention to me.
Rhoda,,
I have nearly fell asleep waiting for articles/comments to load! Thought it was my general incompetence and computer at fault. Hope things get restored soon.
God bless.
The last comment took nearly 5 minutes to send!
Hi Islander, thank you for letting us know. We have been having problems with our website. There are several issues, some of which involve our hosting provider, email provider etc. So it is taking longer than usual to solve.
I am experiencing the same thing as the rest of the peoe.
That should say people.
Hi Isabel, thank you for letting us know. Please bear with us. The site is continuously going up and down throughout the day. Sometimes it loads quickly, sometimes slowly and sometimes not at all.
I understand, I just wanted to let you know that I too experience the same as others, but I am patient so it pays off in the end.
This time around the misfortune could not have happened to a more deserving person.
Perhaps he should sell the guest-house over their heads. He may not get its full worth, but, by the time he has finished with court appearances and with making good the damage, it might in the long run be cheaper.
