The UK’s “assisted dying” bill is eugenics by another name

Please share our story!

Leadbeater’s kill bill is back.  The euthanasia bill, officially called the ‘Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill’, has been reintroduced in Parliament by Labour MP for Rochester and Strood, Lauren Edwards.

As a UK Medical Freedom Alliance panel points out, this Bill will make eugenics a government policy by creating a healthcare system that will judge the value of somebody’s life according to their productivity, their activity and their efficiency.

The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is a private member’s bill that proposes to legalise “assisted dying” in England and Wales.  The Bill, originally introduced by Kim Leadbeater MP (Labour) in October 2024, passed the House of Commons in June 2025 but failed to become law because it did not complete its legislative stages in the House of Lords before the 2024–26 parliamentary session ended on 29 April 2026.

Lauren Edwards MP (Labour) has reintroduced the Bill into the House of Commons as a private member’s bill for the 2026-2927 parliamentary session. It passed its first reading in the Commons on 17 June 2026 and is scheduled for its second reading on 11 September 2026.

Last month, in a three-part series, a UK Medical Freedom Alliance (“UKMFA”) panel discussed the realities of the Leadbeater/Edwards euthanasia bill.  Below is Part 3.  You can watch all 3 parts on UKMFA’s YouTube channel HERE.

Disability & Assisted Dying (Part 3)

By UK Medical Freedom Alliance, 18 August 2026

Following Part 1 and Part 2 of this important conversation, in this final segment the panel (Amanda Hunter, Ken Ross, George Fielding and UKMFA’s Dr. Liz Evans) concludes that legalising assisted suicide will put those with disabilities at risk of feeling they have no option but to proceed down this dark route. And that society will cross an ethical Rubicon into the realm of eugenics.

The Illusion of Choice and Systemic Failures

A primary concern raised by the panel is that “choice” in Assisted Dying is an illusion when the healthcare system is already failing vulnerable people.

• The Reality of Care: George Fielding highlights that caring for disabled people is a full-time, often uncompensated job. Families are frequently left in a “black hole” of bureaucratic struggles to secure support, leading to deep anxieties about who will care for their children when they are gone.

• Lack of Alternatives: Proponents of the bill are accused of taking advantage of a broken system. With an estimated 100,000 people dying annually without adequate palliative care – and hospices actively making redundancies – assisted suicide may become the only available option rather than a genuine choice.

• Redesigning Care: Before introducing assisted dying, the panel argues that the government must first redesign social care, fix universal credit and ensure universal access to palliative care.

The Misuse of DNARs (Do Not Attempt Resuscitation)

The panel discusses the implications of the historical misuse of DNAR orders on the reality of introducing Assisted Suicide.

• Shift in Purpose: Ken Ross notes that DNARs have already morphed from a protective measure (”do not jump on my chest if my heart stops”) into a mechanism for actively withdrawing life-saving treatment (including food and fluids) altogether. Which is euthanasia by the back door.

• Lack of Consent: Dr. Liz Evans points to covid protocols, where blanket DNARs were imposed on disabled people, those with learning disabilities and the elderly – often without their consent or the knowledge of their families. This exposed a deep-seated societal prejudice around whose lives are deemed “valuable” and worth saving.

Eugenics and the Slippery Slope

The panel push back strongly against the framing of assisted dying as a progressive step for society.

• The Eugenics Comparison: Fielding argues that the healthcare system ultimately judges the value of a life based on “productivity and efficiency,” making the proposed legislation inherently eugenic.

• The Slippery Slope: The panel warns that safeguards inevitably erode. Citing international examples (like Canada, Belgium and the Netherlands) where assisted dying criteria have rapidly expanded over only a few years to include children, younger adults and those suffering from mental health issues, poverty or disabilities.

Call to Action for Parliamentarians

As the reintroduced (Lauren Edwards) assisted dying Bill moves towards its second reading and vote in Parliament on 11 September, the panel issues a direct plea to MPs to reject it outright in that vote. Calling on them to:

• Engage with Lived Experience: MPs are urged to stop relying on social media, soundbites or distilled briefs. Instead, they must speak directly with disabled people and advocacy groups who understand the real-world impact of these policies.

• Recognise the Unequal Impact: Fielding warns MPs representing poorer or rural constituencies (such as Cornwall or post-industrial towns) that their vulnerable constituents will be hit hardest by this legislation, as these areas often suffer the most from underfunded social and healthcare infrastructure.

Call to Action for the Public

Please visit UKMFA’s “Reject Assisted Suicide” Campaign page for more information about how you can get involved in fighting against this Bill.

Protest: There is a planned protest outside Parliament on the 11 September, when the second reading and vote take place. We will post details of the timings on our campaign page when they become available.

Write To Your MP:Right To Life has produced an ‘Assisted Suicide Letter’ to print and post to your MP.

Healthcare Workers: Our Duty of Care has produced a tool to quickly and easily send an email specifically aimed at healthcare professionals to their MP, asking for a meeting and detailing the reasons that leading medical organisations have serious concerns about the “assisted dying” Bill.

While previously it was a hobby culminating in writing articles for Wikipedia (until things made a drastic and undeniable turn in 2020) and a few books for private consumption, since March 2020 I have become a full-time researcher and writer in reaction to the global takeover that came into full view with the introduction of covid-19. For most of my life, I have tried to raise awareness that a small group of people planned to take over the world for their own benefit. There was no way I was going to sit back quietly and simply let them do it once they made their final move.

I had SPLIT opinions regarding this. But undeniable agreed with this kill bill.

Yes, we do not want to lose our loved ones but EVERYBODY will eventually die one day. The deceased will be mourned & remembered. The different is how soon…

According to PROs & CONs, everybody have their own judgement.

For me, stopping my never ending pain & suffering is a good choice. Hanging on only prolong the suffering for me & also to my close family who need to burn money & time just to keep me barely alive.

Stopping the dependable on modern pharma-chemical-drugs also a good thing to end the support to these evil big pharma from keeps operating.

People who ‘willingly’ to be tricked to take the death jab are now contracting & suffering permanent cancer (lung/skin/thyroid/liver), heart problems, brain damage & many more. They should known that by using self-righteous “my body my choice” and took the con-vid jab, the consequences all yours sheeples.

ALSO, these people who approving this bill eventually getting old & will be contracting terminally ill health problems as well soon.

“Let them taste their own medicines”.

‘For me, stopping my never ending pain & suffering is a good choice.’

I agree, but I still wouldn’t use them to finish me. I don’t have that level of trust whatever method would be used BY THEM or promised – who knows what happens in reality?

As of the never ending pain… it looks to me that diet and pain go hand in hand. With diet change eating proper food but processed and being on mainly an animal fat and meat based diet, even the tooth pain is not so bad anymore. I can’t recall the last time I was in the need of having a pain-killer pill.
Not being young and having pets all in my life I also saw this phenomenon, that if they age properly and were kept on a species appropriate diet, previously rather healthy then the end is surprisingly peaceful without much suffering if any.

Yes, proper diet & avoid UPF & GMO is a must for healthier lifestyle. That reality only exist before year 1666.

We are now ‘forced’ to live on supermarket grocery items filled with UPF, GMO & artificial folic acids. Traditional farmers all been wiped out by con-glomerate-owned-by-government.

All natural seed are gone. Replaced by GMO. They use DEW weapon to make the farmers lost their crops & then they offer the farmers fully subsidized re-plant the crops using their GMO seed.

We are ‘diseased’ on earth to them. Need to be killed by pharmaceutical-chemicals (vaccines) & by our food.

I agree, I feel the same way. We put our animals to sleep when they become ill so they don’t suffer, I feel that way about humans as well. I would end my life if no hope for cure with euthanasia.

Hi Isabel! The problem, however, is that the class that rules over you decides whether or not you are worthy to live. You may not have a deadly disease, but the government healthcare system was too busy paying for illegal invaders free healthcare while spending billions on bombs to countries laundering your money to care about healing your health problems. You are not government nor wealthy so… Bye… bye! your gone.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you say, but, I am the one who would decide to end the pain a day suffering. Just like ant animal, we need to take them to the vet to end their suffering, I too would need a Dr to end my suffering humanely.

Last week I saw the obituary from Belgium from a couple, both 69 years old, with ‘untreatable’ diseases, that were euthanized together. I think this is the doctors throwing the towel… we can’t help so we will gladly kill you. I understand if someone (no matter what age) is in excruciating pain and everything – but REALLY everything, including herbal treatment, homeopathy, massage, osteopathy, acupuncture etc – because most But for me, it is the downfall of allopathy. they are good at surgery and sometimes broken bones, although there, too, other therapies exist, and they should forward people to other therapists when they have no solution!

Maybe in some instances it could work but once a Pandora Box is open things are never the same….
Off topic but Technically this eugenics type of assisted killing / suicide / not sure what to call it…
But it’s al part of the reduce the world’s population agenda..
I was in he grocery section of a store yesterday , The crackers , bread ,cup cakes , cans of soup and cans of beans aisle..
Me and a friend were talking about how Folic Acid is in anything made with flour ,
I think it was the expose that did the Folic Acid article ,
My buddy pointed out how crackers , bread , can goods of soup and so on had the words Contains Bio Engineered products at the bottom of the ingredient list…

As time goes by the assisted suicide killing law probably would include others that borderline on not having a say in their assisted killing suicide which would be wrong…

‘The Bill will make eugenics a government policy by creating a healthcare system that will judge the value of somebody’s life according to their productivity, their activity and their efficiency.’

That will get rid of all those useless old codgers in the House of Lords, all those who classify themselves as disabled with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, and whatever make-believe ailments they believe they suffer from. They will soon be wishing they weren’t wearing this badge of honour for extra benefits if this goes through.

It will get to the point that any health problem, at least long lasting will be considered a candidate for being murdered. This will not apply to the government leaders and super wealthy, just us peons!
