Beginning in 2011, American Naturopath Dr. Peter Glidden has been publicly speaking out against using chemotherapy as a treatment for cancer.
It is ineffective, harmful and is only still being used because of the huge profits the drug makes for the pharmaceutical industry and doctors, he said.

Dr. Peter Glidden is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and an outspoken advocate of Wholistic Health. He is the author of several books, including ‘The MD Emperor Has No Clothes’ and the trilogy ‘Leave Big Pharma Behind’.
In July 2011, he was interviewed by iHealthTube. In the interview, Dr. Glidden cited a 2004 study that “concludes better than 90% of the time, chemotherapy does not work. Yet it’s one of the main treatments in the battle against cancer. Dr. Glidden explains why that’s still the case,” iHealthTube said in the video description.
The study titled ‘The Contribution of Cytotoxic Chemotherapy to 5-year Survival in Adult Malignancies’ was published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in 2004. “It was a 12-year programme, 12-year study,” Dr. Glidden explained. “They looked at adults who had developed cancer as an adult, not childhood cancer but adult cancer.”
“They did a meta-analysis of these people all around the world who developed cancer as adults for 12 years and were treated with chemo … And the results? Ninety-seven per cent of the time, chemotherapy does not work,” he said.
The actual wording of the authors was, “In this evidence-based analysis, we have estimated that the contribution of curative and adjuvant cytotoxic chemotherapy to 5-year survival in adults is 2.3% in Australia and 2.1% in the USA.”
“So why is [chemotherapy] still used?” Dr. Glidden asked and then answered his own question: “There’s one reason and one reason only: money. “

Fact checkers and the like, of course, came out in force to debunk Dr. Glidden’s claims, including Snopes who wrote a “fact check” article in 2016 about the statements Dr. Glidden made.
Some years later, Dr. Glidden referred to his 2011 interview during a webinar.
“Let’s talk about cancer, shall we?” he said. “It all started with this video that I was in a number of years ago [2011] … I had 82 million views a number of years ago, now it’s over 100 million. I simply was telling the facts, the truth about a study which showed that chemotherapy was only two per cent effective.
“Of course, it created a firestorm in the Twitter universe with everybody and their brother coming out of the woodwork calling me a quack. So, I thought it was time to have an adult conversation regarding cancer.”
He cited some cancer case figures for the US. “In 2016, there were approximately 1,685,000 new cases of cancer, almost 600,000 cancer deaths – which translated to 4,620 new cases of cancer a day and 1,630 deaths from cancer.
“Now, do those numbers speak to you of a medical system which is winning the war on cancer?” No. He then explains how statistics is used to mislead the public to enable them to claim otherwise.
“While you are being inundated by the propaganda in mainstream media, by the way, which is funded in large part by the pharmaceutical industry, they have preyed upon your good nature,” he said.
“They advertise children with cancer and adults who have had cancer who have cut their hair off to be in unity with their brothers and sisters and parents who have developed cancer. They use pictures like this and high-tech industry references to make us feel intellectually inferior. And the socialised message here, brought to you by the pharmaceutical propaganda machine, is: ‘If the medical doctors can’t figure it out, nobody can. You need to just get out of the way and trust everything that the people in the white coat say because they are a million times smarter than you are’.”
He then discussed the history of chemotherapy. “Chemotherapy was developed from observations of mustard gas in World War II … Medical professionals saw that soldiers who were exposed to mustard gas had reduced white cell counts. So, in 1943, these guys from Yale, Goodman and Gilman, used it to treat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a cancer of white blood cells.”
Dr. Glidden continued: “This was the very first use of chemotherapy used to treat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1943. Which begs the question: how effective is that treatment?
“Not so much.
“In 2016, there were an estimated 72,580 new cases of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and 20,000 people died that year.
“Not so very effective.
“But don’t worry, it’s loaded with side effects … at least 500,000 people in the United Kingdom are facing poor health or disability after treatment for cancer.”
“You don’t have to be an idiot here to see what’s going on,” he said. “All you have to do is follow the money.
“Chemotherapy oncologists get a direct cut of the profits from the sale of the chemotherapy drugs … Conventional medical doctors have no idea what causes cancer, and yet it’s good for them because more people diagnosed with cancer are going to be shuffled into chemotherapy, which is extremely profitable for the medical industry but has absolutely horrible results.”
“Chemotherapy is an ineffective treatment for cancer,” he said. “The only reason that it is still used is because it is a gigantic money maker.”

I take iodine in high doses (25mg/day). It cured me over13 years ago of FBD – a precursor to breast cancer. I gave a small bottle of iodine tablets to each of my 4 siblings. Two of the three who refused to take it saying it was a danger to the thyroid went on to have cancers. The one who didn’t take the chemotherapy has been very unwell for years while the one who did take it went on to have another cancer. Neither myself nor the one who took the iodine have ever had cancer. They don’t listen. They are blinded by their own spirital blindness.
Iodine also cured me of so many other problems that I hadn’t even understood to be diseases but have since learnt the names of those diseases!!

I’ve just been diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukaemia – out of the blue told 1 week ago. Very healthy, active 65 yo no other issues, no meds. Steer clear of GP and Pharma. This is a blood cancer…what am I supposed to do??? I’m short on time…being admitted today! Nobody has any answers the naturopath world is complex and difficult to access…I can’t live without my blood and my immune system and I know chemo will probably destroy the rest of my body….im fuxking terrified so what do I do other than decline treatment and be dead in a few months because there is no alternative that is freely and easily available!! I note that Dr Glidden and others appear to have no answers!
Do you live in the UK? Please try Mistletoe therapy. It’s used widely in Germany, Austria, also available here, but oncologist may try to put you off. Don’t listen! There’s a clinic in Scotland and a couple in England. You need to pay but it’s not that expensive. Can be used either alongside chemo/radiation to mitigate harmful effects or on its own. Re “the war on cancer”
Most people would be much smarter and better informed if they had awareness of what the “war on cancer” movement (and the “Breast Cancer Awareness” movement, etc) does NOT raise awareness about.
The official mainstream “war on cancer” has been an unofficial “war” on the unsuspecting public: to keep them misinformed and misguided about the real truth of this “war.” The latest program/”promise” (such as with gene therapies, the AI hype, or cancer vaccines) is an extension or reincarnation of the enduring deep racket.
This PHONY official “war” was never meant to be won but to be CONTINUED (preferably endlessly, at least for decades) so that the criminal BIG allopathic medical business (the medical mafia) built around it makes insane profits and defrauds the general naive/foolish public, which they’ve been doing successfully … so “THEY ARE winning THEIR war against the general forever-naive/forever-foolish public”..
The orthodox cancer establishment has been saying a cure for cancer “is just around the corner” and “we’re winning the war on cancer” for decades. It’s almost all hype and lies (read Dr. Guy Faguet’s ‘War on cancer,” Dr. Sam Epstein’s work, or Clifton Leaf’s book, or Dr. Siefried’s work on this bogus ‘war’, etc).
The criminal medical establishment deliberate and falsely self-servingly claims and distorts a ‘win’ in the bogus ‘war on cancer’ when the only truly highly notably win is a big reduction in lung cancer mortality due to a huge reduction in smoking [https://tinyurl.com/ypk4ccyj]. Much less smoking also led to a ca. 40% reduction of the OVERALL cancer death rate in men between 1990-2006 because smoking increases the risk of death from cancers also in various OTHER organs and tissues like the bladder, stomach, mouth, throat, liver, pancreas, kidneys, colon, rectum and cervix. It follows that this great recline in smoking also resulted in a lower “age-standardized cancer death rate” IN GENERAL since around 1990 when various smoking-deterring measures implemented over several years prior (eg, Surgeon General’s warning that smoking causes cancer, higher sales taxes on cigarettes, smoking bans on airplane flights and restaurants) started to take significant lowering effects on the cancer death rate of MANY types of cancers! This massive positive impact had/has NOTHING to do with the crooked allopathic medical business’ cancer treatments. Lying is and has always been their basic mode of operation.

As long as the official “war on cancer” is a HUGE BUSINESS based on expensive TREATMENTS (INTERVENTIONS) of a disease instead of its PREVENTION, logically, they will never find a cure for cancer. The lucrative game of the medical business is to endlessly “look for” a cure but not “find” a cure. Practically all resources in the phony ‘war on cancer’ are poured into TREATMENT of cancer but almost none in the PREVENTION of the disease. Eg, Heidi Williams, the director of science policy at the Institute for Progress, explained that from the time the “War on Cancer” was announced, in 1971, until 2015, only six drugs were approved to prevent any cancer. From 1973 to 2011, nearly 30,000 trials were run for drugs that treated recurrent or metastatic cancer, compared with fewer than 600 for cancer prevention.
It’s IRREFUTABLE PROOF POSITIVE that BIG MONEY and a TOTAL LACK OF ETHICS rule the official medical establishment.
It’s just like with any bogus official “war” (‘war on drugs’, ‘war on terrorism’, ‘war on covid’ etc) — it’s not about winning these wars but to primarily prolong them because behind any of these fraudulent “war” rackets of the criminal establishment is a Big Business, such as the massive cancer industry. The very profitable TREATMENT focus of conventional medicine, instead of a PREVENTION focus which these official medical quacks (or rather crooks) can hardly make any money off, is a major reason why today 1 of 2 men and 1 in 3 women can expect a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lifetimes (https://tinyurl.com/ypk4ccyj) yet that rate was multiple times lower 5 decades ago when the phony ‘war on cancer’ began (1 in about 16) and the current much higher rate cannot at all be attributed solely to an aging population. Does anyone really think it’s a coincidence that double Nobel laureate Linus Pauling called the ‘war on cancer’ a fraud? If you look closer you’ll come to the same conclusion.
